A large number of organizations are in jeopardy of losing their status for failure to file required tax returns for the last three years.

I recently browsed through a 430 page on-line document of organizations in Pennsylvania that are on the chopping block, and was amazed at the number of emergency services organizations listed. I culled a list of many (but likely not all) fire related organizations that are on the list. I KNOW I saw some LanCo organizations on there.

The burn building has been completed. We are currently working on the water cistern, pumps/pipes/hydrants, storage building on top of the cisten and road system. We have slowed down due to the land use/storm water/land development planning. We anticipate most items to be completed in early winter with an opening in spring '11. Over the winter we will be working on policy and proceedure and facilitator training.

The burn facility will be for use by member fire companies for company level training. All state level and non-member training will be handled at LCPSTC. We will post updates on the web site at LCFA.org.
