12 - I have heard that Tanker 35 went to Aspers FC in Adams County
13 - I was told by a 39 member that the old air unit will be used as a traffic unit now

It was placed into service on 4/15/79 and housed on 10/7/79. The Eden company members did all the sanding for it to be repainted. It was sold to the Grand Bay Volunteer Fire Company (Mobile County, AL) in 10/94. Seen 10/09 sitting in a lot on US RT. 1 in Elkridge Md. I was told a Career Firefighter at Baltimore County Sta. 7 now owns it and plans on restoring it back to the way Pikesville had it.

Bruce
Pikesville purchased twin Macks - an Engine and the Snorkel
I believe these were Baltimore Co. designated E321 & E322
E321 ran first out and E322 (the Snorkel) would end up on the Hydrant most of the time especially on Boxes with Baltimore City as it was small in comparison to other Trucks due on the Box.
Pikesville sold the Snorkel to Eden FC and discontinued Truck services until 1986 when they placed a 100’ Seagrave into service.
The members of Eden FC did indeed hand sand the Snorkel inside the Strasburg Masonry building and also mounted all of the equipment. The company also voted on the radio designation of “Truck 24” or “Snorkel 24” ……..
I believe Snorkel 24 during its service at Eden became the most active fire unit of the era possibly seeing more fire than any other unit in Lancaster County.
Corrections or additions to the above welcomed.

Anything NEW going on in the county?
Like what's wrong with Truck 2-6 or 2-5? I'm not sure which.
And what's the deal with Engine 2-5-1? I saw and have video of it on scene but I hear it had to be taken back to Seagraves?

DK50,

If I remember correctly when I ran at 2-4 in the 90's I was told snorkel 2-4 went everywhere including a building box in Hershey at one time.
